Manifesto

As an artist, I want to share my art and bring joy to as many people as possible, and especially inspire others to make and share their own voice, since that is what got me into art in the first place. I want everyone to create their own, unique, human art that doesn’t rely on prompts written on a computer. I want people to experience what it feels to make things with your own hands, the pure ecstasy of seeing your ideas come to life.

Part of the reason why I make art inspired by Frutiger Aero is because it brings back the little good memories I have from my childhood. My days playing Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii and Animal Crossing on the DS are the first that come to mind when I see this aesthetic, and the sunny summer days in my hometown while looking at the ocean on the horizon. This sense of joy and nostalgia for the past brings me forward to be hopeful that this life can still be mine and yours, too.

I want everyone to still have hope even in times of darkness and rely on each other. There’s strength in numbers, in community. Wherever you are, you are not alone. Rely on friends, family, your local clubs or communities. There is always a place for you, if you’re willing to listen and learn. There will always be a place for you in my art, as long as you make space for others to feel safe, too.
